Mustang Men Receive First-Ever ITA All-America Honors

TEMPE, Ariz. – Morningside Men's Tennis made more history, as the Mustangs received their first ITA All-America nods.

Alexis Diaz was named an All-American in both singles and doubles. Diaz, a senior, went 17-6-3 in singles and 16-10 in doubles alongside Marcos Menendez Hervella.

Menendez Hervella, a sophomore, was selected as an All-American in doubles alongside Diaz. 

Diaz was the ITA Central's top singles finisher, advancing to the ITA Cup tournament in Rome, Ga. He and Menendez Hervella also took the top position in doubles play to advance to the ITA Cup.

Both Mustangs were first team Great Plains Athletic Conference all-conference selections in singles and doubles.
