Bio
One of only three Morningside cagers to earn All-North Central Conference honors three times, Cedar Falls native Brad Barron left his mark in the record books while leading the team to one of its most successful seasons in school history. The six-foot-eight inch forward-center ended his career with 1,625 points, second highest of any Morningside player at the NCAA Division II level. Barron was named to the league’s honor unit in 1994, 1995, and 1996.
He averaged 16.4 points, and 7.7 rebounds per game in 1995 as Morningside reached the Elite Eight round of post-season action, winning three tournament games before falling to Cal-Riverside. The team compiled a 24-8 overall record. As a senior, Barron led Morningside to an 18-9 record by scoring 21.4 points, and 6.6 rebounds per contest.
