Bio

Mike Cadwell was a four-year member of the Morningside baseball team, earning All-North Central Conference honors as a catcher during his senior season of 1969. He was a batterymate of pitcher Paul Splittorff for two seasons.

Cadwell taught for five years at Leeds High School, and Sioux City West, then spent seven years at Morey’s, and Raymonds in Sioux City. He has been in the insurance business for many years, primarily with Federated Insurance. Cadwell worked 30 seasons as a high school, and college basketball official, including many years with the NCC. He also officiated high school football for 17 seasons.
