Bio

The undisputed greatest female athlete in Morningside track and field history, Meredith Davis compiled a record that will be difficult to surpass. A 13-time NCAA Division II All-American, Davis is a two-time national champion, capturing the Heptathlon event in 2001 and 2002. An elite competitor in the long jump and hurdles, Davis Lang stood out at the North Central Conference and national levels. She holds NCC records for the indoor 60-meter hurdles and the outdoor 100-meter hurdles and was named most valuable athlete in both indoor and outdoor conference meets. She is a four-time NCC outdoor conference long jump champion.

Besides her national titles, Davis was a runner-up long jumper in both indoor and outdoor championships, In all, she was a four-time All-American in the outdoor long jump, and a 3-time All-American in the indoor 55-meter hurdles and the indoor long jump. She captured 14 North Central Conference titles in various indoor and outdoor events. Davis Lang was inducted into the NCAA Division II track and field Hall of Fame and the Sioux City Relays Hall of Fame.
