Bio
A two-sport athlete at Morningside, Rockwell City, Iowa, native, and 1953 graduate Jim Fowler went on to compile a close association with his alma mater that stretched more than six decades. Fowler played football for coach Clayton Droullard, and basketball for coach A.W. Buckingham.
Fowler served as president of the Morningside Alumni Association, president of the M-Club, and was a member of the Board of Directors. In addition to a 41-year career with Jolly Time Popcorn in Sioux City, Fowler served as a high school, and college sports official for many years.
