Bio
A native of Correctionville, Iowa, Virgil Gerkin was inducted into the M-Club Hall of Fame for meritorious service in 1971. Gerkin graduated from Morningside in 1921, and had a lifelong association with his alma mater, serving many years on the Board of Directors. He was president of Gerkin Company in Sioux City.
