Named first team-Louisville Slugger/National Fastpitch Coaches Association All-American in 1999, Melissa (McWilliams) Hansen left her mark in the record book, and on the field for the Morningside softball team. A rare three-time All-North Central Conference performer (1996, 1997, 1999), the second base player charted a.407 batting average with 68 hits, 14 doubles, five triples, 11 home runs, and 44 RBIs during that banner 1999 season.
