Bio

Tim Jackes is a Holstein, Iowa, native who played football for two Morningside coaching legends, Russ Kraai in high school, and Dewey Halford at Morningside. Jackes was a member of the Maroon squad from 1967-70, and served as co-captain of the 1970 squad. In 1989, he founded Quality Refrigerated Services, a food warehousing, and processing company.

Jackes was a member of the Morningside’s Board of Directors for many years, and is believed to be part of the only father-daughter combination of M-Club honorees, as daughter Jill (Jackes) Bartosh was inducted for volleyball in 2007.
