Bio
Shortstop Angie (Koll) Van Otterloo was an impact player for Morningside’s softball team throughout her four-year career (1996-99). As a sophomore, she helped lead Morningside to a 32-21 overall record by hitting.411 with 18 doubles, four home runs, and 40 RBIs. That earned her a spot on the Third-Team NCAA Division II All-American team. Van Otterloo ranked 21st nationally in the doubles per game category that season. She also earned All-North Central Conference honors in 1997, and 1998. She had a career batting average of .351, and ranks third on the career charts with 51 doubles.
