Bio

Harlan, Iowa, native Lee Moran was a standout offensive guard for the Morningside football team, playing from 1961-64, and for coach Dewey Halford.

After graduation, Moran played one season for the Omaha Mustangs, a semi-professional team. He served as the head coach for the Dakota State Trojans from 1970-72, and also served as an assistant coach at New Mexico State, and Kansas State. Moran was inducted into the Dakota State University Hall of Fame in 2009.
