Bio
A multi-sport athlete hailing from Laurens, Iowa, Dale Norton played football, basketball, and baseball for the Maroons. He played in the 1917 Notre Dame game, a 13-0 Irish victory before 5000 fans at Mizzou Park in downtown Sioux City. Besides serving as captain of the athletic teams, Norton held leadership roles on campus as student body president, Pi Kappa Delta president, and member of the debate team.
