Bio
One of the top athletes during the era when Morningside’s women’s programs transitioned to the North Central Conference, and NCAA Division II ranks, Shawna Paskert earned All-NCC honors in 1992, and 1993. During her senior season, Paskert led Morningside to an 18-9 overall record, and 10-8 record in the highly competitive NCC, good for a fourth-place finish. She was named honorable mention All-American in 1993 by averaging 19.3 points, and 10.7 rebounds per game. Paskert ended her career with 1,350 points, and grabbed 850 rebounds, and was a career 54.6 percent field goal shooter (549-1010). She earned NCC Player of the Week five times over her career.
