Bio

Mark Paulsen is a Correctionville native, and Eastwood High School graduate who lettered in two sports at Morningside, football, and baseball. Paulsen served as a placekicker on the football squad, and booted the winning field goal in Morningside’s 3-0 victory over Nebraska-Omaha in 1981. He set the school record with a 53-yard field goal in 1980 that still stands today.

Paulsen led the Maroons in scoring for four seasons as a placekicker, booting 52 PAT’s, and 18 field goals from 1978-81). The pitcher was also a member of the Maroons’ 1980 North Central Conference championship baseball team.

Paulsen is a former president of the M-Club.
