Bio
After graduating from Sioux City East High School, Oskaloosa, Iowa, native Don Preston enlisted in the US Marine Corps., serving two years in World War II. He later resumed his education at Morningside, where he lettered four years on the football team, and played for all three seasons that NFL legend George Allen led the Maroons (1948-50).
Preston served as president of the M-Club, and co-chaired the annual Shine Game for Morningside. He was active in the Abu Bekr Shrine, and held positions as Potentate, and Recorder.
