Bio
Dave Rebstock was Morningside's longtime SID who passed away in 2018. His tenure at the institution spanned the move to the NAIA and saw Morningside become a national leader in many sports. A transplant from the newspaper business, Rebstock's words immortalized events ranging from women's basketball's first national championship to the men's volleyball program's first victory. From the GPAC Cheer and Dance Championships to numerous edge-of-your-seat contests with rivals Briar Cliff and Northwestern, he was constantly promoting Morningside student and staff achievements.
