Bio
Whitey Rosenberger was a starter on one of Morningside’s most successful basketball teams in the school’s early history, the 1936-37 squad. Coached by Glenn “Honie” Rogers, Rosenberger helped lead the team to a 16-4 overall record, and 7-2 mark in the North Central Conference, good for a runner-up finish. The team qualified for the National Intercollegiate Basketball Tournament in Kansas City, defeating Baker, and Arkansas Tech to reach the championship round, where they fell to Warrensburg Teachers.
