Bio

One of the top infielders in Morningside softball history, Tia Vitiritto-Stiles was a three-time All-American at the NCAA Division II level. She was named to the All-American second team in 1994, and 1997, and was a third-team selection in 1995. The second baseman was one of the toughest players nationally to strike out with just two strikeouts over a two-year span that included 89 games, and 276 at-bats. She was a 3-time All-NCC selection, and played on Morningside’s 1994, and 1995 NCAA Regional teams. In her best season, Vitiritto-Stiles hit.408 with 92 hits from 225 at-bats with 12 doubles, eight triples, 11 home runs, and 43 RBIs. She also played guard on the women’s basketball team.
