Bio
Named to the All-North Central Conference basketball team in 1956, and 1957, Sioux City native Keith Warner played for long-time coaches Al Buckingham, and Chuck Obye. During his senior campaign of 1956-57, Warner scored 354 points in 23 contests for a 15.2 scoring average, leading the team to a 12-12 overall mark, and third place showing in the NCC.
Warner spent more than 40 years in the baking and milling business in the Twin Cities area. A cancer survivor, he started the American Cancer Society’s Relay for Life chapter in White Bear Lake, and raised more than four million in support, becoming the largest chapter in Minnesota. He received the prestigious J. Stanley, and Doris Hill Legacy Award from the American Cancer Society.
