Bio
Ralph Weaver was a three-year letterman on the Morningside football squad, playing three seasons (1948-50) for NFL coaching legend George Allen. Weaver was named the most valuable player of the 1948 squad from his offensive guard position. He helped the team compile 7-3-1, and 7-2-1 records during his final two seasons. After graduation, Weaver compiled a lengthy career as a high teacher, coach, and administrator, including head football coach at Sioux City East.
