Bio
Sandy Winter played softball, basketball, and volleyball as a collegian, then returned to her alma mater to coach two of those sports as Morningside competed in the Io-Kota Conference, and NAIA circles. Winter guided the 1986 Morningside volleyball squad to a 34-9 overall record, and 9-1 mark in the Io-Kota Conference, claiming the league title, and making an appearance in the District 15 playoffs. She was named Coach of the Year that season. Two seasons later, Morningside claimed a share of the league crown. Her 1984 club compiled a 24-16 mark.
Winter coached volleyball for six seasons at Morningside, and four seasons as softball coach.
