Morningside (7-7) fell in Game 1, 5-3, and led for most of that contest before taking a 15-5 loss in Game 2.
In Game 1, Conner Maston hit a two-run home run that scored Jacob O'Dell in the fourth inning. Two innings later, Romani Perez hit a solo home run. Jaxon Bunkers had a two-hit game.
Cade Nolan allowed two earned runs in 5 2/3 innings on three hits, striking out six. Sam Hanson pitched in relief in Game 1.
Sam Wilt had two RBIs in Game 2, while Luke Froehlich, Hayden Hixon, and Perez also produced runs. Wilt, Perez, and Froehlich all drove in runs during the fourth, while Hixon's RBI came during the sixth.
