While the Mustangs may not have had the day they were looking for, falling to Oklahoma City University, who ranks no. 4 in the national standings, 87.3-72.02, and Grand View 71.62-71.2, they continued to advance their case for an at-large bid to the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics National Championship, building their season portfolio with every competition.
Morningside will take the mat again on Friday, Feb. 16, as it hosts a home dual with Doane University at 7:30 p.m. in Rosen Verdoorn Sports Center's Allee Gym.
