Mustangs hit zero-deduction routine at NWC
ORANGE CITY, IOWA – Morningside’s cheer team posted its two highest scores of the season this weekend at Northwestern’s two-day cheer and dance invitational. The Mustangs recorded a third and a fourth place finish, posting the third-highest two-day total with 155.28 total points.

Morningside hit a deduction-free routine in day one of competition, scoring 77.37 points. The Mustangs came back with a bigger score on day two, scoring 77.92 points, despite a quarter point deduction.
Morningside is back on the mat on Saturday, competing at Dordt University, before competing for the conference championship at Concordia in early March.
