Hough earns GPAC Offensive Player of the Week nod
Hough scored two rushing touchdowns in Saturday’s 58-17 win over Briar Cliff, while also collecting 192 yards.
SIOUX CITY, Iowa — Morningside junior running back Max Hough on Monday was named as the Great Plains Athletic Conference Offensive Player of the Week.
Hough scored two rushing touchdowns in Saturday's 58-17 win over Briar Cliff, where the Mustangs amassed over 700 offensive yards. He also carried the ball 13 times for 192 yards. His longest run on Saturday was 83 yards.
On the season, Hough has collected 296 yards on 31 rushes. He has averaged 9.5 yards per carry.
Morningside started its bye week Monday, and will return to action for its home opener on Sept. 20 at 1 p.m. against Midland.
