No. 14 Mustangs swish 18 3-pointers in win over Mount Marty

SIOUX CITY, Iowa – Despite the icy weather outside on Saturday, the Morningside University men's basketball team found hot hands in a 91-63 win over Mount Marty.
The 14th-ranked Mustangs (10-2, 6-2 GPAC) made 35 of 57 shots overall in the win, and hit 18 3-pointers. The 18 3s mark the fourth time this season where the Mustangs have hit 17 or more, and the eighth when they've hit the double-digit mark in 3s.
Caleb Dreckman led Morningside in 3s with six, as he had 18 points. Saturday's leading scorer, Joey Skoff, had 19 points, but made 9 of 15 attempts.
Aidan Vanderloo connected on all three of his 3-point attempts, and wound up with 13 points.
Daniel Brocaille scored 11 off the bench, and he hit three 3s. Justin Sitti made two 3s en route to a 10-point game.
Morningside scored 51 in the second half. It forced 22 points off 15 MMU turnovers.
