Mustangs Hold Their Own at NAIABCA Invitational, Finish 9th and 13th in Topeka

The Mustangs opened Invitational no. 1 with a ninth-place finish, knocking down 4,813 total pins for a 192.52 average. Hunter Noteboom paced the lineup with a five-game total of 1,022, averaging 204.4 pins per game. Brenden Lewis followed with 977 pins and a 195.4 average. Michael Kruse III added a four-game average of 200.3, and Parker Kisch contributed a 193.8 average during the individual tournament.
Morningside returned to the lanes on day 2 to open Invitational no. 2, a baker-format event, where it placed 13th with 4,624 pins and a 194.96 average. The Mustangs came up just short of reaching the top eight and advancing to match play on the final day.
The Mustangs' next outing comes as part of a busy week in Las Vegas, where they will compete in the Las Vegas Invite and the Collegiate Shootout from Dec. 18–21.
