Westra named NAIA Scholar-Athlete

KANSAS CITY, MO. – The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics announced its Daktronics Scholar-Athletes for men's golf, releasing this year's list alongside the other spring sports.

Aiden Westra, a senior from Sioux City, Iowa, was the lone Morningsider to land on the men's golf list. 

In order to qualify for the NAIA scholar-athlete program, a student-athlete must maintain a cumulative grade point average of 3.5, appear on a sport's eligibility certificate, and have attended one full year at the current institution.
