Ben Abdallah receives Player of the Week nod for second time this season

SIOUX CITY, Iowa – For the second time this season, Skander Ben Abdallah has earned the GPAC Men's Tennis Player of the Week award.

Ben Abdallah, a senior from Tunis, Tunisia, went 3-0 in singles and 2-1 in doubles for the week. He won singles matches against Northwestern 7-6 (7-0), 6-0; Augustana 6-1, 6-3; and Doane 6-0, 6-1.

In doubles action, Ben Abdallah and his teammate Santiago Minetti defeated Northwestern in No. 2 action 6-4, 6-4. The duo won their flight against Doane as well, defeating the Tigers 7-6 (8-6). 

Ben Abdallah and the Mustangs are back in action twice this week, facing Mount Marty Thursday in Yankton and Luther at home Saturday.
