Trenkle repeats as GPAC player of the week

SIOUX CITY, IOWA – For the second week in a row, the Great Plains Athletic Conference has named Mark Trenkle its men's tennis player of the week.

Trenkle, a senior from Lahr, Germany, went a combined 7-1 in matches last week, as the Mustangs went 4-0 and clinched the GPAC regular season title. He was 4-0 in singles play and 3-1 in doubles.

Morningside will hold the no. 1 seed in the GPAC Postseason tournament next week, with the men scheduled to play on Thursday at 1 p.m. at the Mason Family Tennis Complex.
