Men's Tennis Tallies 7-0 Win in Penultimate Match

Mathys Arnold and Jesse Gerth got Morningside started, recording a quick 6-0 win in no. 3 doubles. Santiago Minetti and Gabriel Whiston followed, clinching the doubles point with a 6-1 victory at no. 2, and Marcos Menendez Hervella and Alexis Diaz kept the Broncos winless with a bonus 6-1 win in the no. 1 position.
Arnold was first in the books again in singles, winning 6-0, 6-0 at no. 3. Menendez Hervella followed with a quick 6-4, 6-0 win at no. 1, and Diaz clinched the match, winning the no. 2 match 6-1, 6-2.
With the match already decided, Gerth picked up a 6-2, 6-0 win at no. 4. Minetti followed with a 6-1, 6-0 victory in the no. 5 position, and Gabriel Whiston won 6-2, 6-0 to complete the sweep of the Broncos.
Morningside ends its regular season on Saturday with a match against Midland.
