Throwers compete at Dennis Young Alumni Classic

STORM LAKE, Iowa – Two Morningside men's throwers competed at the Dennis Young Alumni Classic in Storm Lake Saturday.

Keyan Fulton placed third in the shot put at 13.93 meters (45-8.5). Fulton also competed in the weight throw, where he tossed a mark of 11 meters (36-1.25). John Groetken threw 10.45 meters (34-3.5) in the shot put and 10.88 meters (35-8.5) in the weight throw.

Morningside returns to action at the DWU Alumni Meet on Feb. 3.
