Men's Track and Field Places Nine on Scholar-Athlete List
KANSAS CITY, Mo. – The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics announced its Scholar-Athletes for spring sports. Morningside had 9 athletes named to the list for men's track and field, representing the indoor and outdoor seasons.
KANSAS CITY, Mo. – The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics announced its Scholar-Athletes for spring sports. Morningside had 9 athletes named to the list for men's track and field, representing the indoor and outdoor seasons.
The Mustangs were represented on the spring list by Blake Cerveny, Cade Johnson, Casey Kruger, Chayton Rowe, Laken Bellis, Lane Kruger, Mason Welker, RC Hicks, and Theo Moseman.
In order to qualify for the NAIA scholar-athlete program, a student-athlete must maintain a cumulative grade point average of 3.5, appear on a sport's eligibility certificate, and have attended one full year at the current institution.
