Ten Mustangs named to women's basketball scholar-athlete list
KANSAS CITY, MO. – The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics announced its Daktronics Scholar-Athletes for women’s basketball, releasing this year's list ahead of the 2024 NAIA Women’s Basketball National Championship being held at the Tyson Events Center.

Morningside had 10 athletes land on this year's list, Alexis Spier, Baylie Girres, Chloe Lofstrom, Dani Peterson, Ella Wragge, Jordyn Carr, Kinsey Hall, Lauren Hedlund, Lily Vollertsen, and Megan Callahan.
In order to qualify for the NAIA scholar-athlete program, a student-athlete must maintain a cumulative grade point average of 3.5, appear on a sport's eligibility certificate, and have attended one full year at the current institution.
