Women's Basketball Places 10 on Scholar-Athlete List
KANSAS CITY, Mo. – The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics announced its winter edition of Daktronics Scholar-Athletes, listing 10 Morningside Women’s Basketball team members as recipients of the honor.
KANSAS CITY, Mo. – The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics announced its winter edition of Daktronics Scholar-Athletes, listing 10 Morningside Women's Basketball team members as recipients of the honor.
The Mustangs were represented on the honor list by Jordyn Carr, Emma Hall, Kinsey Hall, Kinsley Havranek, Tonja Heirigs, Bailey Klote, Dani Peterson, Lily Vollertsen, Jaeden Webb, and Ella Wragge.
In order to qualify for the NAIA scholar-athlete program, a student-athlete must maintain a cumulative grade point average of 3.5, appear on a sport's eligibility certificate, and have attended one full year at the current institution.
