Mustangs open season at Midwest Collegiate Championships
WAUWATOSA, WISC. – Morningside bowling opened its season as the women’s team competed in the Midwest Collegiate Championships last weekend. The Mustangs placed 16th out of 35 teams, rolling a team total of 8,307 pins.

Carissa Johnson led the Mustangs on the lanes, rolling a six-game total of 1,109 pins, averaging just under 185 per game.
Lexis Schroeder and Rachel Spier followed, each rolling a 1,067, with Kaitlin Hofmeister giving chase at 1065. Schroeder and Spier averaged 177.83 pins per game across the six games, with Hofmeister at 177.5.
The Mustangs are back in action on October 29 and 30, competing in the Jayhawk Bowling Challenge.
