Mustangs finish at no. 13 in Leatherneck Classic
MOLINE, ILL. – Morningside’s women’s bowling team continues to find success on the lanes, as the Mustangs, lead by an Emaly Kruse fourth-place finish, placed no. 13 in the 33-team field at the Leatherneck Classic.

Morningside totaled 7,096 pins, with 4,342 coming in 30 individual games, while 2,754 were toppled in the team's Baker games.
Kruse' team-leading total of 1,026 pins and average of 205.2 pins per game landed her on the all-tournament team for the second consecutive competition. Her high for the day came in game five, where she rolled a 232.
Carissa Johnson was next in line for the Mustangs, totaling 886 pins to finish at no. 43, while Alexa Munhofen finished 72nd with 840 pins.
Morningside's next outing is its home invitational, held at Plaza Bowl on December 2 and 3.
