6 Mustangs named women's bowling Daktronics NAIA Scholar-Athletes

KANSAS CITY, MO. – The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics announced its Daktronics Scholar-Athletes for women's bowling, releasing this year's list alongside the other winter sports.
Morningside had six athletes named to this year's women's bowling list, Alexa Munhofen, Emaly Kruse, Riley Howard, Rachel Spier, Samantha Schiefen, and Zara Bitsos.
In order to qualify for the NAIA scholar-athlete program, a student-athlete must maintain a cumulative grade point average of 3.5, appear on a sport's eligibility certificate, and have attended one full year at the current institution.
