Young Morningside Squad Takes Fourth at Jayhawk Collegiate Challenge

Kennedy Reindl led the way for the Mustangs, tying for second overall with 959 total pins for a total of 191.8 across her five games. Emaly Kruse placed fifth with 954 pins and an average of 190.8 per game. Natalie Vanderloo was third for Morningside with an average of 169.25 pins per game and Alexa Munhofen was fourth with 166.75.
The Mustangs, with a lineup of mostly underclassmen, qualified for match play, losing 3-0 to Peru State, 200-190, 186-180, and 182-171.
Morningside will look to build on its early success this weekend in the Five Seasons Classic in Cedar Rapids, Iowa.
