Kruse, Munhofen Lead Morningside Women to Runner-Up Finish at Five Seasons Classic
CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa — The Morningside University women’s bowling team turned in a strong showing at the Five Seasons Classic over the weekend, finishing second in a 17-team field with a total of 8,035 pins and a 178.5 team average.

Junior Emaly Kruse led the Mustangs with an eighth-place individual finish, rolling 976 pins for a 195.2 average. Alexa Munhofen followed in 16th place with 925 pins and a 185 average, while Kennedy Reindl finished 19th with 917 pins and an 183.4 average.
Natalie Vanderloo rounded out Morningside's top performers, placing 22nd with 906 pins and an 181.2 average.
Morningside returns to action at the NAIA Invitational in Topeka, Kansas, beginning Thursday, Nov. 14.
