2022 spring slate tees off

Head coach Nick Wanderscheid's Mustangs took the Robert Trent Jones Golf Trail's Legends Resorts. They played a 72-hole 1016 led by a low 18 of 330 during Monday's second round. Their score left them eighth of 11.
Senior Laia Badosa (Girona, Spain) and sophomore Sofia Castelan (Queretaro, Mexico) were atop the Mustangs' leaderboard. They finished with identical 242s to tie for 17th. Castelan's two-day experience was led by a 78 during round two, the squad's low individual 18. Senior Maria Zorrilla (Torreon, Mexico) was third-low, as her 253 placed her 27th.
Morningside breaks from competition until Monday and Tuesday, March 21 and 22. They are part of the Paiute Battle hosted by Grand View College and Texas Wesleyan University.
