Castelan wins GPAC Golfer of the Week

SIOUX CITY, Iowa – Sofia Castelan continues her strong senior season with a GPAC Golfer of the Week honor for her performance at the Trailblazer Invitational hosted by Oklahoma City University. 

Castelan, a senior from Queretaro, Mexico, tied for sixth at the event. Her second round 1-under par 71 was the best round of the day that day. Her sixth place finish helped Morningside to a fifth place team finish, the best team finish by a team not ranked inside the NAIA Top 25. 

Morningside is back in action March 25-26 at the Staco Spring Classic in Kansas City, Mo.
