Mustangs wrap up season at NAIA National Championship

The Mustangs vastly improved from the first round to the second to finish 25th as a team. Monday's first round conditions weren't ideal as the Mustangs totaled 347 strokes as a team, but trimmed 16 strokes from the team total on day two for a score of 331 on the day and 678 for the tournament.
Sofia Castelan led the Mustangs on day one with an 8-over 80 on day one, and hit a pair of birdies on the second nine Wednesday to shoot 6-over and finish at 14-over for the tournament. Lucy Brown, Cameron Spellman, and Aidan Sander improved on their scores from day one to day two as well. Brown and Spellman both shot 12-over 84's on Wednesday. Aidan Sander shot a 13-over 85. For the tournament, Brown scored 30-over, followed by Spellman at 33-over, Aidan Sander at 37-over, and Alysen Sander at 39-over.
The Mustangs concluded their season with Tuesday's action at the NAIA Championships.
