Mustangs fall to Gustavus Adolphus
SIOUX CITY, IOWA – Morningside Swimming kicked off the 2024 Family Fest athletic activities today, diving into the Hindman-Hobbs Center pool at noon for a dual with Gustavus Adolphus College. The Mustang women fell short against a very deep Gustavus squad, taking second in the standings 179-53.

Alice Mahoney was Morningside's top finisher on the day, taking first in the 100-yard breaststroke (1:13.99), the 200-yard breaststroke (2:41.71), and the 200-yard individual medley (2:23.26).
Kaylee Barlow finished behind Mahoney in the 100-yard breaststroke, touching the wall in 1:19.66.
The Mustangs also placed second in the 200-yard medley relay, as Delaney Biesecker, Mahoney, Olivia Ramaeker, and Haley Snawerdt turned in a time of 2:06.19.
Morningside's women will swim against College of Saint Mary on November 9 at the University of Omaha-Nebraska at 1 p.m.
