Morningside Adds New Times to Top 10 Lists at KCAC Championships
HOBART, Ind. – The Morningside women’s swim team’s relays led the way for the Mustangs at the Kansas Collegiate Athletic Conference Swimming and Diving Championships, as several new times registered on the program’s top-10 lists.

Morningside took sixth in the 800-yard freestyle relay to start the meet, where Leonor Coelho, Alice Mahoney, Lily Jackson, and Elena Santelli finished in 8:24.22. Jaden Ochsner, Mahoney, Coelho, and Olivia Ramaeker also took sixth in the 400-yard medley relay in 4:17.07.
Coelho, Mahoney, Santelli, and Ramaeker took seventh in the 400-yard freestyle relay, checking in a time of 3:48.53, while the same foursome finished eighth in the 200-freestyle relay in 1:43.21, the ninth best time in program history.
Individually, Coelho recorded a new seventh top-time in program history with a 2:01.97 finish in the 200-yard freestyle and Santelli took the eighth spot on the list for the 200-yard back stroke with a time of 2:21.23.
Morningside will now await the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics' release of national qualifiers, due out on February 20.
