Women's 4x800 competes at nationals

MARION, IND. – Morningside's women's 4x800-meter relay team competed with the nation's best at the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics Outdoor Track and Field National Championships, running in the semifinals earlier this week.

The Mustangs placed no. 15 in the event's preliminary round, improving upon their qualifying position of no. 18 in the country.

Morningside ran a time of 9:36.98, finishing seventh in its 4x800 heat.
