A dozen Mustangs named NAIA Scholar-Athletes for women's track and field
KANSAS CITY, MO. – The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics announced its Daktronics Scholar-Athletes for women's outdoor track and field, releasing this year's list ahead of the 2024 NAIA Women’s Outdoor Track and Field National Championships in Marion, Ind.
KANSAS CITY, MO. – The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics announced its Daktronics Scholar-Athletes for women's outdoor track and field, releasing this year's list ahead of the 2024 NAIA Women's Outdoor Track and Field National Championships in Marion, Ind.
A dozen Morningsiders were named to this year's list, Courtney Sporrer, Ella Stapek, Emily Chicoine, Jena Jenness, Laura Greene, Lauren Wehrbein, Monica Olson, Nicole Zuehl, Paige Padavich, Sarah Perez, Taylor Greene, and Taylor Sporrer.
In order to qualify for the NAIA scholar-athlete program, a student-athlete must maintain a cumulative grade point average of 3.5, appear on a sport's eligibility certificate, and have attended one full year at the current institution.
