Dyrstad receives second GPAC Setter of the Week honor

SIOUX CITY, Iowa — For the second straight week, Morningside University sophomore setter Kyla Dyrstad was named Tuesday as the Great Plains Athletic Conference Setter of the Week.

Dyrstad averaged 11.71 assists per set during the Mustangs' two victories this week over Briar Cliff and Waldorf. The Papillion, Nebraska, native also earned five service aces and 14 digs.

On the season, Dyrstad has 309 assists, good for fourth in the GPAC.

Morningside is on the road this week at Northwestern and Dordt, then it returns home Sept. 24 against Dakota Wesleyan.
