RV Morningside drops four-set match to No. 24 Dakota Wesleyan
SIOUX CITY, Iowa — The Morningside women’s volleyball team battled hard but came up short in a four-set home loss to No. 24 Dakota Wesleyan on Wednesday night at Allee Gym.

SIOUX CITY, Iowa — The Morningside women's volleyball team battled hard, but came up short in a four-set home loss to No. 24 Dakota Wesleyan on Wednesday night at Allee Gym.
The Tigers claimed the match 25-22, 25-23, 22-25, 25-20.
Emma Haren paced the RV Mustangs with a team-high 22 kills on .452 hitting, while Payten Lode added 18 kills and nine digs, as she hit .308. Victoria Bouska chipped in eight kills, and Adelyn Harris tallied five with two service aces and three blocks.
Setter Kyla Dyrstad collected 57 assists and also notched 11 digs, while libero Aubrey Sandbothe led all players with 27 digs.
After dropping the opening two sets, Morningside responded in the third behind a balanced attack, with Haren and Lode combining for clutch kills to pull away late. Dyrstad clinched the set with a kill.
Morningside returns to action Saturday at Doane.
