The Mustangs hit .193 as a team, led by senior outside hitter Emma Haren, who finished with 13 kills on a .385 attack percentage and added 12 digs and two aces. Payten Lode followed with 10 kills and nine digs, while Jacey Miller added five kills and 10 digs.
Setter Kyla Dyrstad paced the attack with 30 assists and chipped in eight digs, while libero Aubrey Sandbothe anchored the defense with a team-best 16 digs. Victoria Bouska tallied seven kills and three block assists, and Adelyn Harris added three blocks.
Morningside opened strong, hitting .222 in the first set and rolling through a 7-0 run in the second behind Taya Phillips' serving. The Mustangs closed the match with their best frame, posting a .268 hitting percentage and using a balanced attack from Haren, Lode, and Miller to seal the sweep.
