Mustangs complete weekend with four-setter over Flames

Haren led the Mustangs with 18 kills on .350 hitting to go with 22 digs and two aces. Miller added 16 kills, 14 digs and three blocks, while Payten Lode contributed 10 kills, 16 digs and three aces. Setter Kyla Dyrstad ran the offense with 45 assists, 15 digs and four block assists, and libero Aubrey Sandbothe paced the defense with 19 digs.
Morningside (11-9, 5-5) was dominant at the net, finishing with 10.0 team blocks, led by Adelyn Harris with 4.0 total (one solo, six assists). Victoria Bouska and Dyrstad each chipped in four block assists.
After dropping the opening set, the Mustangs steadied their attack, hitting .217 in the third and .262 in the fourth to pull away late. Haren's timely swings and a Lode kill closed out the victory.
